If your nonprofit is interested in joining the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community as a participating organization, please complete the online application.
To be considered, your organization must have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, with a health or human service focus.
Organizations that have their own fundraising walk in Highmark's service area are not eligible [all of Pennsylvania (except for Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties) and all of Delaware].
Organizations that do not have a local presence in the location for which they are applying are not eligible.
Other requirements for consideration include:
- Organizations must have a staff member or volunteer that can attend all meetings/conference calls.
- Organizations must have a website.
Because Highmark Inc. manages and underwrites the cost of the Walk for a Healthy Community, the company no longer funds other or competing fundraising walks.
Please complete the online application and submit by July 31, 2017, to be considered for our 2018 events. Notifications of acceptance are made in August/September.
The application process for 2017 has closed.
