Partner with us to make a greater impact
The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community offers a unique opportunity for health and human service nonprofits to significantly expand their fundraising efforts. We are seeking dedicated organizations to partner with us in our mission to build healthier communities.
Eligibility requirements:
To be considered for participation in the Highmark Walk, your organization must meet the following criteria:
- 501(c)(3) status: Possess current 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the IRS.
- Health or human service focus: Demonstrate a clear mission focused on health and human services within our community.
- Local presence: Maintain a physical presence within the region for which you are applying (Erie, Harrisburg, Laurel Highlands, Lehigh Valley, Pittsburgh, or Wilmington, Delaware).
- Dedicated contact: Have a designated staff member or volunteer available to attend meetings and conference calls.
- Online presence: Maintain an active and up-to-date website.
Important note: Organizations that already conduct their own fundraising walks within Highmark's service area are not eligible to participate. Highmark underwrites the entire cost of the Walk for a Healthy Community, and therefore does not provide funding for competing events.
