Walk for a Healthy Community

The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community is an annual fundraising walk that benefits local health and human service agencies.

The primary goal of the walk is to help participating organizations raise money for their individual missions. One hundred percent of the funds raised through this event go directly back to the participating organizations, as Highmark underwrites all the associated costs of the event.

In 2022, we will return to in-person events beginning in May 2022. The Highmark Walk events will return to the following markets: Erie, Harrisburg, the Laurel Highlands (Altoona/Johnstown), the Lehigh Valley (Allentown/Easton), northeastern Pennsylvania (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre), Pittsburgh, and Wilmington, Delaware.

Through 2021, the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community events have raised more than $16.7 million for more than 500 health & human service nonprofit organizations.

To access our 2022 participating nonprofits, navigate to the Locations & Registrations tab and select your region.
